If Roberts' was a stealth nomination Meirs may qualify as invisible. A look at Find Law does not show any reason why she should be on the Supreme Court of the United States. While some point out that other justices never sat on the court; at least their vitae was impressive. She may be "a pit bull in size 6" shoes as Shrub claims but a "pioneer" c'mon. O'Connor was a pioneer in American jurisprudence. Perhaps what Shrub meant was that she is a Bush Pioneer, the upper echelon of donators.

While there does not seem to be anything, at least on the surface, to disqualify Ms. Meirs their is the question of her actions between the years 1972 -1973.
