Mr. Fitzgerald, Maj. Asshat Gen. Paul Vallely On The Line

From WorldNet Daily

Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Paul Vallely threatened with a lawsuit for "slander," retired Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely is turning the tables on Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson, calling on the man at the center of the CIA leak controversy to offer a public apology for accusing him of lying.... ....Vallely claimed Wilson revealed wife Valerie Plame's employment with the CIA to him in a casual conversation the year before she allegedly was "outed" by columnist Robert Novak. Vallely said he brought up Wilson's disclosure last week because he saw Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald's investigation of the alleged leak as unfinished.
Last week Faux news found that there was a "leak" in its news department. Someone was claiming that Amb. Joe Wilson revealed his wife's identity as a CIA covert op. I am sure that after intense internal investigating (HA! HA! HA!) ; which probably consisted of a series of coin tosses and games of rock, paper, and scissors, the leaker has come forward. The one and only Faux news shill and resident warmonger, Maj Gen Paul Vallely (ret).

If your accusations are true, then why dear General, didn't you come forward in the early days of the investigation? Why now? Well dear friends I think we can call the Swift Boat campaign against Joe Wilson officially open. Yep those self-righteous and discredited scumbags are once again on the political radar. In an effort to protect Post-Turtle, his cadre of foot stomping mental six year olds, the so called, moral Right are willing to do anything. So they create the next meme:

Who ya gonna believe a Major General or an Ambassador?

I choose the man who stood up to Saddam Hussein during The Gulf War. I choose to believe the man that served as a diplomat to three of the four major uranium producers in the world. I choose to believe a couple who have spent their adult lives working and at times risking their lives defending this nation. I believe them because their is no legitimate reason why their story is not true.

Joe Wilson reported that the war was based on false evidence. His accusations have proven to be true. Irving Libby's indictment based on his 1001 Iraqi Nights litany of stories and counter stories shows that there was a conspiracy surrounding the war and Rove-gate. The CIA does not ask the DOJ to investigate things that are non-crimes. The DOJ does not investigate incidents that are non-crimes. A covert CIA operation was compromised NOC's and informants working the WMD beat have been placed in jeopardy AND our ability to co-op new informants has been severly compromised. Who the hell will want to talk to us now? Why would some one risk their lives to pass up information when they can be exposed by a single malicious whisper from the West Wing.

I will not attempt to impeach the good general's record, because it is quite distinguished:
General Vallely is a graduate of the Infantry School, Ranger and Airborne Schools, Jumpmaster School, the Command and General Staff School, The Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the Army War College. His combat service in Vietnam included positions as infantry company commander, intelligence officer, operations officer, military advisor and aide-de-camp. He has over fifteen (15) years experience in Special Operations, Psychological and Civil-Military Operations.
I will say this, his years in Psy-Ops and Civ-Mil Ops probably explains why Faux hired him. The good General has spent the last few years beating the drums of war everlasting and has provided succor to the wingnut right, who ironically enough, do not seem to want to serve in the wars they create.

If you take a look at his new book Endgame you immediately get the feeling that the good general is living in the 1970's. The current military, as is being displayed in Iraq, is not up to the task he outlines. This is not because the individual soldiers, marines, sailors, or air men are not up to the task. The problem is that they are under-equipped and undermanned by this administration's choice.

Former Time magazine correspondent Hugh Sidey told the New York Sun in a story published Sunday. "[Plame's] name was knocking around in the sub rosa world we live in for a long time."

....NBC reporter Andrea Mitchell, in an appearance on CNBC's "Capitol Report," Oct. 3, 2003, was asked how widely it was known in Washington that Wilson's wife worked for the CIA. "It was widely known among those of us who cover the intelligence community and who were actively engaged in trying to track down who among the foreign service community was the envoy to Niger," she said.
So who released her identity? How did Andrea Mitchell and Hugh Sidney both water carriers for the Shrub failure come to be "in the know". I think we are beginning to have our suspicions realized as horrible fact. The answer is not Ambassador Joseph Wilson and certainly not his wife. The answer lies with someone at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Fitzgerald has stated that his investigation is NOT done and that it will continue once they can cut through the web of lies, deceit and potential treason by this fiery wreck of a presidency.

"Even though I'm a tranquil guy now at this stage of my life, I have nothing but contempt and anger for those who betray the trust by exposing the name of our sources. They are, in my view, the most insidious of traitors."
-- George Herbert Walker Bush, 1999
