Rev Lusk= What A Freaking Tool.

Greater Baptist's pastor, the Rev. Herbert H. Lusk II: "My friends, don't fool with the church because the church has buried a million critics. And those the church has not buried, the church has made funeral arrangement for."

From WaPo:
Lusk, a Bush supporter whose organization has received more than $1 million in federal grants under the administration's Faith Based Initiative, said, "From all I believe, this is the right thing to do," referring to his central role in "Justice Sunday III." "I believe this is what Jesus would have me do."
Hmm this is interesting, from the People for People website:
Pastor Lusk has been the Senior Pastor of Greater Exodus Baptist Church, 704-714 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania since 1982. Under his leadership the Church has experienced substantial growth, (from 17 to 2000+ members.) Pastor Lusk was able to stablize the church financially by eradicating the $1 million of debt existing when he assumed leadership, and he subsequently completed over $3.5 million in renovations and improvements to the church building, rendering it more conducive to its many social outreaches. Currently, the church provides food to 1,000 families annually, oversees substance abuse counseling, runs a ministry for people in prison and operates a mentoring program for children of incarcerated parent(s). Pastor Lusk does not measure the success of his ministry by how many members he has under his ministry, but by how many people his ministry serves.
Well I guess that explains it eh.....
