Libertarian "think tank" Competitive Enterprise Institute is releasing two 60 minute spots criticizing what they call "global warming alarmism. When I heard the audio of the first one, "Energy", I though it was a goof put on by the Rachel Maddow Show (AAR). It took a few seconds for the idea, that these were intended to be serious, to penetrate the ol' noggin'.

These spots of course are intended to counter the truckloads of data and the shared opinion, of just about every legitimate scientist in the field, that global warming is real. Here is the link for the CEI's new pro CO2 campaign: We Call It Life.

I believe their next PSA will be Arsenic: It ain't so bad.
