The Kind of Shit That Makes Me Want to Join The Greens! - Part 2

Inside Bay Area reports that:

With a phone call and a retainer, Diebold CEO Walden O'Dell has launched former Democratic National Committee chairman Joe Andrew on a 50-state ambassadorship for electronic voting.

O'Dell said he, "wanted to reframe some of the issues.''

As a notable Eschatonian would say, "Christ on a cracker!"

What exactly does O'Dell want to "reframe", and why does he need a proto-Democrat whoring himself to do it?

Many will remember O'Dell for his infamous quote that he was, "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year."

The Conyers report showed that he kept his word better than anyone could imagine.

So, now former DNC chair Andrew is traipsing around California spouting such winners as:

"The great irony is, it's the progressives - my side of the aisle - who are against electronic voting but have the most to benefit from it."
Um... yeah like the 2004 election thanks Diebold.

He will have a major uphill battle as thousand of machines sit in warehouse because California election officials, Democrat and Republican, have found the machines not up to snuff.

As this political freakshow continues, one can only hope that DieVote can either get its corporate act together or more states will keep these things away from OUR elections.

In a nutshell:

The odd couple of Diebold and Andrew have `their work cut out for them,'' said Kim Alexander, president of nonprofit California Voter Foundation.
problems. I wish that Diebold would put it's effort into making better equipment and making its paper trail work, rather than a PR campaign.''
