Damn Near Thing.
One can only congratulate Paul Hackett on his run for OH-2 House seat. In a district that never gives a Dem more than 30% of the vote, Paul was able to rake in a 48%. This was a win-win scenario for us. If he won it would have been even better, but that would have been asking a lot for a district so red.
Paul pulled most of his votes from the rural precincts of OH-2 and gave a strong showing in the suburban areas.
Look at what WE did. That's right the grass roots combined with a STRONG Democrat can move mountains.
So how did WE win even though Paul lost.
We made them fight in a district that they have never had to defend.
Ken Mehlman had to send his ops and money to bail out Schmidt's practically bankrupt campaign.
The likes of Sean "baby jesus" Hannity and Rush "Oxy" Limbaugh were actually forced to comment on this race. A small, and in the grand scheme of things, insignificant race.
Were they scared? Oh hells yeah!
These kind of filth do not like the defensive. They are not used to it and they suck at it. They are the bullies in the school yard and while we may have lost the bully ran home to momma to wipe his bloody nose.
This is the offense folks.
Do you like the smell and taste of it? You should.
Do you have the stomach for it? You must.
This is what Democrats and Progressives like Howard Dean have been preaching.
